I started in insurance in 1985 with State Insurance, back when it was still government-owned, and spent 29 years with State here in Levin. When IAG brought State and AMI together, I built something new at AMI: a direct service for local car dealers and finance companies. By the time I moved on, 47 dealers and finance companies were ringing me directly to arrange insurance for their customers.

From there I spent ten years as Aon's district manager in Levin, looking after local families and businesses, in some cases three generations of the same family. After more than 40 years in insurance, joining Gerrard's to open the Levin branch was an easy decision: I liked the people, and the systems are the best I've worked with.

Levin is my home town. I've been part of Levin AFC Football Club for 52 years, I've volunteered with the Levin Community Patrol for 15, and you'll see me around town on the bike, I'm training for a half Ironman.

The way I work is simple: every client is my number one client, whether you've got one car or a million-dollar business. Come in, sit down, and we'll sort your insurance face-to-face, and if you ever need to make a claim, I'll walk you through that too.
